Meet Your Artist

Josaline Green’s tattoos could come from worlds a thousand years in the future to eons past. She specializes in cyberpunk, neotribal and geometric tattoos that are designed to interact with individual anatomy and provide a new perspective on the way we view movement in the human form.

With inspiration drawn from the convergent spaces of technology, liminal spaces and ancient symbology, Josaline uses  every tool at her disposal from 3d scanning to hand-drawn designs in order to create deliberate, immersive art that pushes the boundaries of what’s possible.

Josaline is a Berkeley-based tattoo artist specializing in large-scale blackwork in a signature style that blends geometric patterning, digital forms, and organic movement. Her work has been recognized with top honors at the 2025 Summit Invitational, reflecting a practice grounded in technical excellence and thoughtful design. Working out of Dark Water, one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s premier tattoo studios, she offers a refined, collaborative approach to body art focused on care, precision, and personal meaning.

Before moving to the Bay Area, Josaline began her career tattooing approximately 7 years ago living in the Colorado mountains, after spending her formative years in Florida.

In addition to her signature style, Josaline welcomes a range of custom tattoo projects. Whether you’re drawn to themes of transformation, futurism, or simply seeking a design that feels right on your body, she works closely with you to create something meaningful and enduring.
